Annual A.M.E. Today Essay Contest. Claynishia, an active member of

Hope, change is the legacy of Convo IV
The tone was consistent from its start. Convo IV, held at Philadelphia's Adam's Mark Hotel, was about change. Bishop Cornal G. Henning Sr. in his closing sermon, noted he never had felt the sense of urgency or the depth of devoted concern as that encompassed by Convo IV.
Info Management Urged at Convo IV
The Committee on New Initiatives urged the African Methodist Episcopal Church to take advantage of today's technology during its presentation at Convo IV. The committee's working notes called for the establishment of FAS-2, an information management system that would carry the church into the 21st Century information age.
