Bermuda Annual Conference Poised to Begin
Bermuda is poised to hold its Annual Conference this week under the direction of Presiding Bishop Philip R. Cousin and the Epsicopal Supervisor Dr. M. Joan Cousin.
Today, the Annual Conference will be preceded by a Welcome Service.
Tomorrow, Rev. Wilbur Lowe, will bring the message for the annual meeting of the WMS Conference Branch.
The Bermuda Annual Conference will be hosted at St. Paul A.M.E. Church at the corner of Court and Victoria Streets in Hamilton, Bermuda. Rev. Conway M. Simmons, Pastor. Host Presiding Elder Rev. Malcom Eve. The Rev. Lorne Beane, assistant to the Pastor.
The church announced:
"Dear Friends, The St. Paul family anticipates an exciting session of the Bermuda Annual Conference (March 23-26).
As the host church it is our privilege to meet, greet and serve everyone coming to share this experience. The schedule of events is: Tuesday, March 21 Welcome Service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 22 Missionary Day, 8:00 a.m. Thursday, March 23 Opening Session, 8:00 a.m. Friday, March 26 Conference business continues. Saturday, March 25 Ordination Service, 10:00 a.m. Sunday, March 26 Commissioning Service, 3:00 p.m.
In preparing for guests coming from outside the island, rooms have been made available at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess Hotel.
