Hunt, 87, Presiding Elder, Fort Pierce District of the South Florida
Conference, Eleventh Episcopal District, died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2001,
after a period of declining health.
He served the A.M.E.
Church for a total of 46 years, approximately eleven of them in Western
North Carolina and the remainder in Florida.
Funeral was Jan. 12
at Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in Melbourne, FL, with burial in
Rockledge, FL. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mrs. Lilia
Mitchell Hunt.
