is Richard Allen? Is he popular? If he is popular, what is he
popular for?
Richard Allen is the founder of the A.M.E. Church. If
it weren't for him, we wouldn't have A.M.E. Churches. There are
A.M.E. Churches in 19 districts around the world.
It all started in
Philadelphia and went throughout the world. A.M.E. Churches only
started with one Bishop but now we have 19 bishops in the A.M.E.
Church.
Richard Allen was born a slave on February 14, 1760 which is
Valentine's Day. Richard Allen was a good man and a dreamer. He is
important, I hope in every A.M.E. Church on his birthday.
