Allen is important to me because if it were not for him there would
not be an AME Church. He is important in 2001 because he is the one
who founded this church. What do you think would have happened if
Richard Allen had not lived? That’s right. If Richard Allen had
not lived, there wouldn’t be a church. So we need to be thankful
that Richard Allen was alive to find a church that now has 19
districts including Africa. What possessed Richard Allen to find all
the AME Churches? How did he feel? Did he have confidence in
himself?
Richard
Allen, born a slave, has changed all of our lives through the AME
Churches that he founded throughout the years. Think about it for a
