The elections was extremely quick and efficient in light of some of the other scheduling items at the 46th Session of the General Conference.
The Consecration of Bishops/Closing Worship Service did not get started until nearly 1 p.m.
By the time the four new Bishops had been consercrated, following a powerful yet succinct sermon by Bishop Adams, and communion serive, it was 1:30 a.m. and the assingments had yet to be rea.
The Episcopal Committee brought the assignments to the Conference eiher a little before or after 2 a.m.
Most people hung in until the bitter end. They, to aperson, all were curious as to who they would have as a Bishop for a least the next four years.
Below are the assignments as they were given last night at the nocturnal close of the General Conference.
