Monday Night, the ministerial sons and daughters of the Rev. Dr. Cecil L. "Chip" Murray came out to celebrate his 78th birthday at Fleming's in El Segundo.

The ministers recounted memories of how Pastor Murray's words (kind and not-so-kind) had helped them not only when they were starting out in ministry,
but today as they pastor and minister to others.

At the end, the ministers praised, prayed for, and thanked Pastor Murray, a man who has meant to much to them, their families, African Methodism, and the Church Universal, for giving so much of himself, and his family for allowing him to do so.
