Tell A Friend!

Let Go And Let God!

When good isn't good enough.

We all have had moments like that.   Things are going good, but you just wish they were going better.

That is the difference between wants and needs.

Good is needs, most times better is wants.

I rollercoaster with the A.M.E. Today Online Ministry.

Every day I recognize it is doing good.  But the flesh in me always yearns for it to be doing better.

Sometimes the Lord directs us to be satisfied with Good for a little while.

When we take things in our own hands and try to run ahead of the Lord, then is when we make mistakes and even if we do not make mistakes, your labor will not bear fruit because it is not on the Lord's time.

This does not mean we are not to step out on faith with the Lord's guidance.  For surely, if we take one step in the Lord's work, He will carry us for two.

Rather I am saying we can not let our ego and pride enter into our ministry.

Numbers mean nothing to the Lord.   He is looking for lives toucheed, for souls saved.  He is not looking for the volume of the work, He is looking for the quality of it.

So I am no longer concerned with the length of the mailing list, the number of people who pass through A.M.E. Today on a daily basis, rather I am focusing my concern on those people, who do avail themselves of either of these ministries, so that they get all the ministering to that they need.

The Lord will send those who need to share in the word.  And he may even use you as the vehicle.  But the growth and numbers have to be on the Lord's time.

The days I feel the worse about what I have accomplished, one thing becomes obvious.   This ministry is not an "I" thing.  I have accomplished nothing. I am just a conduit for the movement of the Lord.  And once I leave the "I" behind, the Lord usually touches one of your hearts to send me a note telling me how the day's Word touched you where you needed to be touched that day.  Or how you shared the Word and touched someone else's heart.

Oh what a mighty God we serve.  And when we let God have His way, what wonders He does perform.

Today, as we conclude another work week, I just thank God for this ministry He has given me, and I thank all of you who are reading this, for sharing the ministry with me.

We will be here throughout the weekend, although I know some of you will be gone until Monday, so before you go, I thank you for your support and participation.

And now, I say to you, as I minister to myself, Let Go and Let God!  Let God have His way in your Life.  Work with Him and see the wonders He is able to perform as soon as we realize, it is God's way not our way.
