came to head the Philadelphia District of the Philadelphia Annual
Conference in May of 2001.
He was appointed
Presiding Elder after a landmark stay at Hickman Temple A.M.E. Church,
a tenure that was marked with near miraculous church growth and
neighborhood improvement.
