I pray for all of the sick and shut-ins in this world and ask God's blessings on my mom who is suffering with alzheimer disease. July 31 about Francis Brown A.M.E. Church. This letter is not in defense of my pastor, nor of my congregation, but to inform the author of this piece that there are other ways to handle problems. You were correct in asking for prayer from our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I applaude that, as well as request a special prayer for our church. As shown by that letter our church is in turmoil. The sole purpose of that letter was to publically humiliate our preacher. The method used to voice your grievences lacked tackfulness. Once again I do agree that our congregation needs prayer. Fellow readers please pray for an end of all of the turmoil that is present in our church, true christian fellowship within our congregation, and that the anamosity that is present will be replaced with love.

Wrote... I believe there is power in prayer and I ask that all who read this pray for Francis Brown AME church. Satan is walking, talking, and taking over our church. His presence can be felt from the choir loft to the back of the church. Those who are suppose to be in charge use their " power" for selfishness and evil. Gone are the days when the santuary was a place of solitude, peace, and time spent talking to God. Our SHEPPARD has allowed money ( the love of money) to control his life and destroy a beautiful church. Those above him know of his temper, cunning ways, and horrific demeanor,scheming ways but choose to do nothing for political gains. I ask that everyone pray for this church, the people in the church, and for each other. When you have a place where the Holy Ghost is not present , then you have nothing. When you have a church where the member don't speak to one another even on communion Sunday you have a problem. When you have church were members are leaving in droves, and members are complaining about favoritism you have a problem. When you have a pastor that yells at members or talk disrespectful about member well or sick you have a serious problem. I ask for pray for this structure so that it can once again become a church. I pray for the pastor that he will allow God into his heart.

I am in need of prayer. Satan is trying to discourage me from doing God's work by putting stumbling blocks in my way. I am on the verge of losing my home. I am 4 months behind. This is not because I choose to not pay, but I lost my job and was out of work for six months before I found another paying less than what I was making. I am in a very cheap house, however; I was not working and trying to support my family on my savings put me behind, I saw in a vision that I will keep my home but I need prayer. I need for everyone to pray that I keep the faith and continue to hold to God's hands/ Even though I know first hand what God can do, I still worry which tells me I am not as faithful I profess to be. Wrote... Please pray for our church!! Our pastor is engaged in a sexual relationship with an unbeliever - she appears to have no interest in church. Besides he is seen overnighting with her just before the Sunday morning service. He then performs church --holy communion and all. There is a lot discord and confusion in the church and this started just about the time he began to see this woman (about a year ago). Please pray that God resolves this issue so that the church can concentrate on kingdom building.
